Private equity transaction volume grew to the record $88 billion of deal flow last year , the secondary market present less than 2 % of the overall $6.5 trillion private capital market. Without COVID-19, we would have expected 2020 to be another record year. Some even projected that the annual secondary volume could reach $250 billion in the next 5 years . 2020 secondary volume to be approximately $40-50 billion with a rebound in 2021 to $80-100 billion.

Founder

Ivan Bukharov

Ivan has started his career in finance industry in 2006 with GFI Group in Tokyo as Inter Dealer Broker of equity derivatives where he took a leading roll in 2009. He moved to Hong Kong with the company in 2012 and continued his roll until company has merged with BGC Partners.

In 2014 Ivan joined ECM/Private equity team at MCM Partners – merchant bank and financial boutique in Hong Kong . Along with Asian Equity cash sales-trading for top-tier hedge funds Ivan has provided deal sourcing and covered large network of family offices, funds and investment companies worldwide for PE secondaries . Following MCM Partners he took senior sales-trading roll at ED&F Man Capital Markets were he covered top-tier banks and hedge funds in fixed income sales-trading. In 2016 he has established Mirai Capital and since then specialising in private placement transactions . During his career with financials firms Ivan held JSDA 1 & 2 , HK Paper 1 & 2 licences .

Goran Gusic

Goran has over 20 years of experience in Equity / Equity Derivatives markets globally, starting his career with UBS in Zurich as a postgraduate in Equity Derivatives Sales.

He joined BNP Paribas Frankfurt/Paris in 2000 as a trader of Swiss Single Stock and Index options. In 2004 moved to Dresdner Kleinwort in London before relocating to Tokyo, Japan in 2005 to trade Japanese Single Stock Derivatives and pan Asian index Volatility and light exotic products.
in 2009 Goran took on a new role at Morgan Stanley London as Equity Derivatives Financials trader, facilitating transactions for larger Hedge Funds and institutional Investors
In 2014 Goran left trading to join TFS Tradition Financial Services, where he covered major institutional clients and Hedge funds in various asset classes and products
Since 2019 he has been active with Kyte/Market Securities
